1963 | Ohyama Chemical Corporation, predecessor of Fuji Systems, was founded. Paid in capital: JPY2,000,000. Started research, development and manufacturing of modified epoxy resin. Started research, development, manufacturing and sales of liquid elastomer called Viscol. |

1970 | Capital increased to JPY15,000,000. Nippon Pelnox Corporation was founded by the joint venture with Nippon Sheet Glass. Epoxy Manufacturing Division was separated. Renamed to Fuji Systems Corporation. Headquarters were moved to Ebisu, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. |
1971 | Succeeded in development of "artificial gill". Prototype of gas exchange module for use in the water was finished. Research and Development of oxygenator was started based on this technology. |
1972 | Started manufacturing of "PHYCON" brand medical devices made of silicone. Started manufacturing of dialyzer membrane called "Nose-Kiel Envelope" under license by research Corporation, USA. |
1973 | Developed comprehensive partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation in the medical field. |
1974 | Japan Artificial Organ R&D was established. Nobuhisa Kawaguchi was designated as vice-president of the company. Satellite office of the company was set in our office. Started collaboration with Cleveland Clinic, OH, USA, on oxygenator and silicone membrane. Capital increased to JPY25,000,000. |
1977 | Became an agent of Gelman Sciences Inc. and started selling their filtration devices. |
1979 | Capital increased to JPY30,000,000. |
1980 | Capital increased to JPY40,000,000. |
1981 | Opened Osaka Office. |
1982 | Opened Yokohama Plant (with cleanrooms) No.2 in Yokohama. |

1985 | Shin-etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. put fund into Fuji Systems. Capital increased to JPY60,000,000. Headquarter moved to Yushima, Bunkyo-ku, Hongo. |
1986 | Received bounty from the Tokyo Bureau of Economy, Trade, and Industry, on Hollow Fiber Project. Started selling novel composite silicone sheet called Biotec. Opened Sapporo Office. |
1987 | Held 25th Anniversary Ceremony. |
1988 | Opened Fukuoka Office. Opened Omiya Office. Opened Saitama Plant in Kazo, Saitama. |
1989 | Signed the contract with Gelman Sciences Inc. as the sole distributor of their filtration devices in Japan. |
